Attorney Profiles

Gretchen Holt Wagner, a partner in the firm, is engaged in a family law practice, as well as a general healthcare and business practice.  Her family law practice includes divorce, alimony, child custody and support, modification of child custody and support, paternity and legitimation, visitation, contempt actions, and related family law matters.  Ms. Wagner combines nine years of litigation experience with understanding and compassion to provide family law services for clients who are experiencing sensitive and complex life transitions. 

Additionally, Ms. Wagner provides business and healthcare legal consulting services for medical practitioners, medical practices, and other healthcare entities, to promote successful business operations, optimum patient care, risk management, and litigation prevention.  She represents doctors, medical practices and other healthcare entities in professional liability actions from pre-litigation through trial, and the appellate process.  Ms. Wagner also provides legal consulting for small businesses, including entity formation, employment matters, contracts, and restrictive covenants. 

Ms. Wagner graduated cum laude, with a B.B.A. in International Business, from the University of Georgia in 1998.  She continued her education at the University of Georgia School of Law, where she earned a J.D. with honors in 2002.  Ms. Wagner is admitted to the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Northern District of Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.  She is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.  Ms. Wagner served on the board of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Foundation from 2008 to 2011.  She was named to the Georgia Trend Legal Elite for 2009, and most recently, she was consecutively named by Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
